What is the difference?

What seperates one church from another. What is it that makes one church very successful and another church struggle along not able to fill it's seat?
Is it that the struggling church does not know God? I don't believe it is. I believe the difference between success and failure is the people. Every successful church I have been to over the years the people who make up the congregation are workers. What I see in smaller less or unsuccessful churches are a couple of people doing all the work of the church and burning their selves out trying to pull the weight of the entire congregation.
I would like to hear your opinion on the matter.
